5 Steps to Get your Barangay Business Permit

After securing your DTI or SEC Registration, the next step to starting a business is the clearance or permit from the Barangay. The Barangay is the basic political unit in the Philippines. It is headed by a Punong Barangay (Barangay Captain),  seven Barangay Councilors (Barangay Kagawad) and a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman. This small political unit has a big responsibility in the development of the nation by being the primary implementer of the programs of the government.
